Now that the 2012 Summer Program, "Dream Big!" is over... here's how we did:
Children's Program:
304 children registered to participate in the reading incentive program
156,000 minutes were spent reading!
We had 42 children's programs during the summer with 2035 people participating!
Teen Program:
Included a successful reading raffle, knitting class, lots of "microblogging" on the graffiti wall, tie-dying and craft days. Lots of activities in the teen area!
Adult Programs
"Sweet Dreams" Raffle: 1008 entries, with Gail McCarthy winning the "Sweet Dreams" gift basket
"Dancing with Joy" line dancing opportunity with Joy Frizelle: About 175 enjoyed this entertaining evening activity
Firefly Concert Series: Three concerts this year (due to July 4 falling on the first Wednesday) were attended by 1000. A great time was had by all!
